UPDATE FEB 2026: After two months of repeated calls to the refund status department, being given conflicting information about whether the refund was approved, credited back to my card, or mailed as a check, and escalating the matter to corporate leadership, I was finally informed that a refund check was processed and mailed on February 23, 2026. I am currently still awaiting receipt of that check. While I appreciate that the matter has now been addressed at the corporate level, the amount of time, follow up, and escalation required to resolve an issue that was acknowledged as the store?s error is extremely disappointing. ========== I had four new tires installed in June 2025 and purchased road hazard insurance. In December, I noticed one tire repeatedly losing air and brought my car in on December 19 to have it inspected. The technician informed me that the wheel lock had broken off inside the tire and could not be removed. I spoke with the manager on duty, Shane, who acknowledged that this was their error and stated that I would be reimbursed for the cost of having the wheel lock removed at the BMW dealership. Due to scheduling, I was able to visit BMW approximately two weeks later, where I paid $344 to have the issue resolved. I then returned to Mr. Tire but was unable to be seen that day and was instructed to come back on Sunday, January 4. When I arrived at 10:00 a.m., the store was closed, with customers and employees waiting outside. The opening manager did not show up, and although the building was eventually opened, staff did not have access to the system to process services. After nearly two hours, I left. I returned the following day and was finally able to leave my car for service. I required a new tire and a tire rotation. I provided the BMW receipt for reimbursement and paid for the new tire installation and renewed road hazard insurance. As of this writing, I am still waiting for the $344 reimbursement to be credited back to my card. I will say that I appreciated Shane working with me, though I was disappointed that whoever initially broke the wheel lock of in my tire didn?t say this when it happened. I drove around for six months with it like that and no idea.....
