Scary drive from Richmond VA to Blacksburg today, but Mr. Tire in Hollins VA SAVED ME and SAVED the DAY. My car had started making crazy noises, like the air brakes on Semi Trucks, and was shimmying in the front end. It was raining, 81 was packed, and of course, my lead foot kept me running between 70 and 80 MPH. I finally got concerned enough to pull off the road and look at my tires, didn't see anything worrisome, checked the tire pressures, normal, but just couldn't shake the feeling that something was wrong. I googled mechanics near me and a Mr. Tire was less than 1 mile away. I called and got an appointment, at 5:30 pm on a Friday. The gentlemen took my car out for a brief test drive, came back, put it up on the lift, and then the secret whispers and conferences started. They asked if my car had been serviced recently and by whom. I told them who does my car service, and then they told me that both my front wheels were about to fall off because the lug nuts were loose. They tightened the lug nuts up and wouldn't take any money for the service that they provided. I am so grateful to these gentlemen for their kindness and help. They have no idea how much their care and concern for me meant. Thank you Mr. Tire!!!....
