Fast and efficient

I went for two front tires and a wheel alignment. They put the front tires on and then told me they could not align the car because the inner tie rods had excessive play. I trusted them and even ordered the parts. Then I went to replace them and there was ZERO play in the inner or outer tie rods. None. Under ANY conditions. They were still tight enough to stand straight out on their own after the outers were disconnected. Also the proposed price they wanted to charge me was $1268. I bought the MOOG (quality) parts for $100 and replaced them myself in less than 3 hours in my driveway. I only changed them at this point because the parts were hard to return and I already had everything ready to go. If I had their lift I could have done it easily in under 2 hours. They were going to charge me $575 an hour for parts I did not need. I called the manager and confronted them about he could give me no explanation. I had to go back today for a damaged tire and they were the only one?s who carried the matching tire and I was reminded of this when they asked for a review. Hopefully after today I never have to return. They lost my trust entirely.....
