Had my vehicle serviced yesterday and they did it quickly and signed me up for a credit card to give me continued discounts and promotions for my vehicle and they even checked everything over and gave me a copy of the inspection sheet! I will be recommending Mr tire to everyone I know here in Shelby! Wonderful service from both Dale and Vencent!!

Wonderful repair facility Vincent and Dale both helped me through rebuilding my brakes and rotors they gave me a even price and did a job well done and they checked everything over to make sure I was in excellent condition before leaving for my trip, I will be doing continued business with them.

While I typically do not write reviews because I let little things slide and am reasonable, I feel this is finally the time for a review. Recently I and my parents have had 3 bad experiences within the last month or so. The first problem occurred a few weeks ago when my front right brake was sticking. It spent a few hours at the shop, and I was told it needed a new brake caliper. I told them if that will fix it, then go ahead. After I received my truck back I drove around the corner and could tell it was still sticking. I was hoping it might would loosen up, so I drove it around 3 miles in a circle right back to Mr. Tire. When I got there, the caliper was emitting smoke and you could feel the heat from it about a foot away. Keep in mind, this cost around $240 I believe without going back and getting my receipt. They then tried a new brake hose and it fixed it. Luckily the manager gave me this free of charge after spending around $240 and not fixing it. More than likely all I needed was a hose in the first place. I was told by the tech as well that he had difficulties bleeding them whenever he installed the caliper. To me this was an indicator that something was wrong with the hose or something differently and not supplying enough fluid. The second experience occurred last Saturday. I called in the previous Monday for my parent's to have the oil changed in their car and was told my appointment was for 9am Saturday, and I even put it in my phone as a reminder. Whenever my parents got there, they were told there was no such appointment. Luckily it was not busy, so they worked them in. Now, the third experience occurred today. As many know and Mr. Tire advertises, they have an app called Motomanager for loyal customers as I. I received a coupon on the app for a free pair of windshield wipers as well as an AC check. I asked if I could use the coupon, but disregard the AC check since it is now winter and my system works fine. I was told by the first employee that I would need to buy the ac check for the windshield wipers. I replied the coupon was for both of those free. So, he asked another employee possibly a manager or someone taking charge at that time. He told me he it did not say Mr. Tire on it, so he could not take it. I decided to walk out and leave since I was getting frustrated. I came back in to show him the app says Mr. Tire Motomanager. I was asked for my name and phone number, and he would contact me back regarding it. Now it is about time for them to close, and I never received a phone call (initially was there at 10am). I am highly considering switching shops after these past experiences. I have been a customer here for over 4-5 years back when it was Clark tire. However, they lost many of the employees from Clark tire when it changed to Mr. Tire, and now it is quickly going down hill. When they first transitioned over it was ok, but now it is way worse. Lastly, combined between my parents and I have 5 vehicles we service here. I definitely expect more for a long time customer. Edit: I received a phone call from the new manager in training after he saw my review. He explained that the person training him had to leave for a family emergency, and that is why he had not called me back. He also apologized for the recent past experiences, but that was under different management.
